the next time this calendar based tri-numeral will occur is way off, 01.01.3001, i think. that's a long time to live, let alone wait. thankfully we won't have to wait that long for the next STS9 tour. sound tribe sector 9 has announced their first big road trip of 2013. the band appears to be sending some love to the northwest and northern california. there will also be two night stops in lawrence and chicago. then the four night run, split between two nights in athens at the georgia theater and their tour closing, two night stand at the orange peel in asheville. this has the makings of a great tour. there's a high likelihood that they will unveil new material, they're coming off of some studio time and look to release an album early in the new year. the public sale begins this saturday for tickets. enjoy the tribe when they hit your hood. there will surely be some lively times from coast to coast. i'm stoked for the CA/NV leg, big ups sector.
